Posto magnifico e incantevole, ho trovato il posto attraverso un video che ho visto su YouTube. Sono andato con mia moglie per il nostro anniversario e siamo rimasti meravigliati dal giardino e la cura dei piatti curati nei minimi dettagli, se capito di nuovo da quelle parti di sicuro ritornerò.

Location molto suggestiva posta ai piedi della Rocca di Paciano. Il titolare é persona gradevolissima e molto disponibile ad illustrare le caratteristiche dei piatti di cui va giustamente orgoglioso. Le porzioni sono consone e la qualità degli ingredienti é indiscutibile. Tutte le proposte gastronomiche vantano una solida percentuale di ingredienti provenienti direttamente dall'orto circostante. Generosità delle porzioni accompagnata anche ad evidente liberalità nell'uso di ingredienti pregiati: il tartufo ad esempio abbonda e non é presente solo per figura. Ottimi i pici all'amatriciana, ma eccelsa la porchetta che viene servita con una confettura di fichi particolare che valorizza inaspettatamente l'insieme. Molto piacevoli i vini, di prezzo anche onesto. Un'ottima esperienza da ripetere senza dubbio il prossimo anno, quando torneremo. Nel frattempo auguro il meglio allo Chef e brigata per la piacevole esperienza. Servizio veloce e molto accurato. Ad agosto, il martedí ed il venerdí, ottimo piano bar di stile garbato ed elegante. Prezzi consoni al livello, ma non esagerati.
Location accogliente informale, immersi nella natura e avvolti dai profumi dell'orto. Sapiente è l'utilizzo delle spezie. Piatti ben curati.

Staff e Chef gentilissimi e sapienti. Nulla è lasciato al caso. Più che una cena è stata un'esperienza.
Salumi ottimi e locali, i secondi e i contorni gioia per le papille gustative. Peccato non aver provato i primi.

A wonderful new discovery. Amazing food and wonderful service. We enjoyed an evening with people who love cooking and serving local food and wine. Watching the chef collect the herbs from the garden and then come by our table to explain how the pigs are raised is how food is enjoyed in Umbria! The buffalo mozzarella ravioli will be remembered forever. Great outdoor relaxing restaurant.
We went here without much an idea what to expect, but really had a good time. The place is lit up by little light bulbs and has see trough curtains to set a nice atmosphere. When we finished the main, one of us didnt finish the meet entirely because we were not sure wether we should’ve chewed it from the bone or not. The taste was great nevertheless. When we had desert, the chef came up to us to ask if we enjoyed the main since not all was finished. He told us it was important for him to know and was relieved to hear it was all good. When we payed and prepared to leave he rushed up to us again to ask if we had a good time. Besides the good price/quality of the restaurant, the chef made that we really enjoyed our stay. We want to thank the team and him particularly for a very nice evening.

We stayed in the Paciano area in a little Villa for two weeks and unfortunately only visited this trattoria on our last night. I don’t think I’ve ever been in a restaurant anywhere that felt more like being hosted for dinner in someone’s back garden (but with much better food than your friends can manage!). The menu was a set of respectful amplifications on traditional local dishes and use the best of their three gardens. For example - a salad of mixed greens including radicchio, arugula, lettuce, fresh and dried cherries, walnut pieces, and a perfect oil and vinegar dressing. Or the gnocchi with truffles (many, but not overpowering), or a roast half Guinea Fowl that sat on grilled bread, topped with an incredible sauce made from its own liver, heart, and other organ meats. The views as the sun set were also lovely.
